Before servicing electronics, turn off AC power to the

charge static, begin by connecting the line cord to a properly grounded outlet, but do not turn on the
power! Next, touch the safety ground stud of the power supply chassis.

Store electronic assemblies in an anti-static area. Use anti-static bags to store or transport circuit
boards, Transport the hard drive in original shipping container.

Do not remove or connect electronic assemblies when the power to the cabinet is switched on. Other-
wise you’ll damage electronic assemblies and void the warranty.
l
Replace ground wires, shields, safety covers, etc., upon completion of maintenance or service. install
and firmly tighten all ground and mounting screws.
