.3.2.7 Pipe Sealing
1)
Optional measures of sealing are as follows:
(1) Use end caps and adhesive tapes (for short-period storing)
(2) Solder sealing (for long-time storing)
Note: Copper pipes must be sealed at any time during on-site construction as required.

Wrap the joints firmly
with adhesive tapes.
This method is recommended.

Pay attention to the following operations:
(1) Dirt might be brought in when the pipe passes through a hole.
(2) Rain water might enter the copper pipe through the outdoor parts of the pipe, especially when
the pipe is installed vertically.
(3) Pipe ends must be covered before finishing the pipe connection.
(4) Place the pipe ends horizontally or downward.
