IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•  Only plug the appliance into a properly 

installed plug socket. Do not use a multiple 

socket outlet or an extension cable.

•  The voltage stated on the specification plate of 

the appliance must match the voltage of your 

mains supply.

•  Please ensure when using the appliance that the 

power cable cannot pose a tripping hazard.

•  Keep the appliance, power cable and plug 

away from hot surfaces, open flames and sharp 

edges. When using the appliance, please make 

sure that the cable does not become stuck (e.g. 

in doors), and do not pull the vacuum cleaner 

using the power cable. 

•  Never touch the appliance, power cable or plug 

with wet or damp hands.

•  Never submerge the appliance, power cable 

or plug in water or other liquids. Danger of 

electrocution and death!

•  When unplugging the appliance, always grip 

the plug and not the power cable.

•  The appliances are only suitable for cleaning 

dry, indoor surfaces. Do not use the appliances 

outdoors or on wet surfaces.  

•  Do not use the appliance near sources of heat 

or near an open fire. 

•  Do not leave the appliance unattended while in 

use or while still plugged into the power supply. 

•  Do not use the appliance on people or animals. 

Danger of injury!

•  When using the appliance, please keep hair, 

loose clothing and all parts of your body away 

from any openings in the appliance and away 

from moving parts.  

•  The appliances must not be used to vacuuming 

the following materials: 

•  Shards of glass or other objects with sharp 

edges or points 

•  Large burning or smoking objects

•  Hot ashes, soot, cigarettes or chemicals

•  Stone dust, plaster, cement or other similar 

fine powders 

•  Foam, water or other fluids

•  Do not operate the appliances if the dust 

container or the dust filter insert are not in 

place or if these parts show signs of damage. 

The appliances should not be used without the 

correctly fitted filter. 

•  Do not use the appliances in an environment 

where there are flammable gasses, fluids or 

dust. Danger of fire! 

•  Do not insert any objects or parts of the body 

into the appliance openings. Please ensure that 

the openings do not become blocked by any 

objects or dirt particles. A blocked opening 

can cause the motor to overheat and can cause 

damage to the motor as a result. 

•  Always use the carry handle to carry the 

appliance. Never use the power cable. 

•  Do not operate the appliances on uneven 

surfaces and make sure that the appliances do 

not tip over during use (e.g. on stairs). 

•  Switch the appliance off and pull out the 

plug before cleaning and removing filters, or 

before removing the suction hose and other 

attachments.  

•  Children do not understand the dangers which 

could arise from using electrical appliances. 

Keep children away from the appliance. Please 

be especially careful when using the appliance 

if children are nearby.

•  Keep all packaging material, for example 

plastic bags and polystyrene pieces, out of 

reach of children. Danger of suffocation.

•  Do not use the appliance if there is any sign of 

damage, if it has been dropped, or if it does not 

work normally.  

•  Check the appliance, power cable and plug 

regularly for visible signs of damage. Do not 

under any circumstances use the appliance if 

you have noticed any damage. Do not try to 

repair the appliance yourself. 

•  Repairs should only be performed by a 

qualified professional.

•  Only use the appliances for the purposes for 

which they are intended.

•  The appliances are only suitable for use in 

private households and are not suitable for 

commercial use.
