EMPTYING THE DUST COLLECTOR /

CLEANING / CHANGING THE FILTERS

•  Disconnect the suction hose from the appliance.

•  Press the cover-lock button (see Fig. 1) and

open the dust container cover.

•  Using the carry handle, lift the dust container up

out of the unit (see Fig. 2).

•  Hold the dust container over a refuse bin

and using the locking button, unclip the filter

cartridge as shown in Figures 3 und 4. You will

subsequently be able to empty the container.

•  The interior of the dust collector can then be

cleaned using a dry cloth.

•  In addition, the filter cartridge of the dust

container must be regularly cleaned.

•  To clean the filter, initially beat this over refuse

bin and then remove the remaining dust using a

fine brush (see Fig. 5).

•  Correctly replace the filter insert inside the dust

collector.

•  The cleaned dust collector can now be put back

into the appliance. Use slight pressure to close

the dust collector cover, and this should lock into

place with a ʻclickʼ.

CLEANING / CHANGING THE FILTERS

In order to ensure the smooth running of the

device, it is also important to make sure the motor

protection filter is cleaned at regular intervals. If the

filter is significantly dirty or damaged, it must be

replaced for a new filter.

Only use filters exclusively designed for use in this

unit and suitable filters of the correct size.

•  Remove the filters and tap to remove the dust

trapped in them.

•  Wash the filter every so often by hand in cool

soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water

to remove any remaining dust particles and

soap.

•  WARNING! Only place the filter back into the

vacuum cleaner, when it is completely dry.
