USING YOUR APPLIANCE

•  Before using the vacuum cleaner, make sure that

the dust collector and the filter insert located

inside the dust collector are correctly in place.

•  Also make sure that the motor protection filter

and the motor outlet filter are correctly in place.

•  Missing or incorrectly installed filters can

damage the motor of your vacuum cleaner.

•  Next, correctly replace the dust collector cover

and lock into position.

•  Place the vacuum cleaner in a horizontal

position.

•  Pull out the power cable as far as you need.

The yellow marker on the power cable shows

the recommended cable length. Do not pull the

power cable out past the red marker.

•  Put the plug into a plug socket.

•  Do not pull on the power cable! To avoid pulling

on the power cable when using the vacuum

cleaner, turn the appliance off briefly, and plug

it in to a nearer plug socket.

•  The power control (on/off switch) allows the

device to be switched on and off.

•  The power/suction control allows the variable

adjustment of the power, e.g. suction power of

the device.

•  Turn the vacuum on and off using the power

button.

•  When vacuuming, especially when using the

vacuum cleaner on soft materials (e.g. textiles),

always begin on a low suction setting, and

increase suction slowly as needed.

•  When using your vacuum cleaner for the

first time, you may see some smoke and the

appliance may emit a smell. This is normal, and

will disappear with further use of the vacuum

cleaner.

•  When using the appliance on flat surfaces, it

is possible to roll the vacuum cleaner along

behind you carefully by pulling on the suction

hose. When lifting or carrying the vacuum

cleaner, only use the handle.

•  When you have finished using the vacuum

cleaner, turn it off and unplug it.

•  Press the cable rewind button to retract the

power cable. The power cable and plug will

retract very quickly. Make sure that the plug

does not hit any body parts, anybody around

you, or any objects. Before retracting the cable,

move the plug close to where the cable joins the

vacuum cleaner, and hold on to it tightly.

•  Store the vacuum cleaner safely in a dry place.

CLEANING AND CARE

Caution:

Before cleaning the device, remove and clean the

dust container and filter, remove the stretch hose

switch off the unit and unplug from the mains!

CARING FOR YOU VACUUM CLEANER

•  If you need to wash the casing of your vacuum

cleaner, you can use a slightly damp cloth. If

the appliance is very dirty, you can use a mild

detergent.

•  Do not use any abrasive substances, abrasive

sponges or strong detergents, as these can

damage the surface of the appliance.

•  Never use any solvents, petrol or oil-based

cleaning agents, as these can damage the

casing.

•  In order to ensure the safe working of your

vacuum cleaner, the filters must be regularly

cleaned / replaced.

Important:

Do not use the vacuum cleaner without the dust

collector or filters installed.

EMPTYING THE DUST COLLECTOR

When the level of dust in the dust collector has

reached the edge of the filter insert, the dust

collector must be emptied and cleaned. To maintain

optimum suction power, it is better to empty and

clean the dust collector regularly, before it reaches

this level.
