Follow the procedure all the way through the recording TV programs.
To have the correct hook-up, see pages 4-6.
Then set the VCR to the TV mode by pressing the
TV/VCR
key.
(The “REC” letter will be displayed on the Display Panel.)
Then select the TV channel you want to watch by using TV channel selector on the TV receiver.
Press the
STOP
key to STOP the recording.
PREPARATION

Select the CHANNEL SET mode from the MENU screen and select the CABLE mode by pressing

Channel Selection
Press the
CHANNEL DIRECT ACCESS
keys or the
CH/TRK
key to select the
channel you want to watch and record.

Speed Selection
Also select the speed at which you want to record – SP or LP – by using the
SPEED
key.

key and the recording will start.

Note:
That the Pause function will be released after 5 minutes to prevent damage to the tape or
the VCR and the STOP mode will be entered automatically.
NOTE:
Since the VCR has its own TV tuner, it is not necessary to turn on the TV in order to make a
recording.
Turning on the TV merely allows confirmation of proper channel settings on your VCR.
