3.4.3 MPET Tool Configuration
The MPET tool is used to merge the UI and the DSP parameters and generate a patch
file (
.ipf
) or binary file (
.bin
). To configure the MPET tool, perform the following
actions:
1. Open the MPET tool and then click
Next to continue with the configuration
settings ( Figure 3-17 ).

2. Select UI Patch Only to merge the UI and the DSP parameters and then click
Next as illustrated in Figure 3-18 .
Note: Download and install the MPET tool, which is available on the Microchip
web site:
www.microchip.com/BM62 . For this demonstration
MPET_V2.1.29.4804
is used.
Note: For the UI parameter settings, refer to 3.4.1 “UI Tool Configuration” , and
for the DSP parameter settings, refer to 3.4.2 “DSP Tool Configuration” .
