GENERAL INFORMATION

TRANSPORTATION

The  packed  radar  system may be  transported 

by railway, road, water or air transport.
Packages  to  be  transported  on  the  decks  of 

vessels, inside railway cars, on platforms or in 

open motor vehicles, by air transport shall be 

arranged and secured in accordance with the 

standards, regulations and transportation rules 

applicable to the respective mode of transport.
During cargo handling operations, package sur

-

face shall be inscribed with the appropriate in-

structions and handling symbols.
Transportation conditions as regards exposure 

to climatic factors shall not exceed the follow

-

ing values:
•  Ambient air temperature from minus 50°С 

to plus 50°С

•  Relative air humidity of 95% at plus 25°С

STORAGE

The packed radar system can be stored for 24 

months starting from the date of shipment in

-

side unheated storage premises at a tempera-

ture from minus 50°С to plus 50°С and average 

monthly relative air humidity of 80% at plus 20°С.

 

A short-term humidity elevation up to 98% at plus 

25°С  without  condensation  is  permitted,  pro

-

vided the total period does not exceed 1 month 

per one year of storage. The storage term of a 

preserved radar in the above conditions with

-

out represervation is 2 years.

The ambient air in storage premises shall be free 

from corrosion-active substances (fumes of acids, 

alcali, etc.). Storage conditions shall prevent ex

-

posure to biologic factors (fungi, bacteria, insects, 

etc.).
On expiration of the storage term, inspect the 

radar visually for condition.
