Caution! DANGER OF LIFE by electric shock. Never immerse the appliance into
water or other liquids, or come into contact with water or any liquid:
-
the cord should never get wet or get in contact with moisture or humid objects.

always keep the appliance away from water and humidity, from bath
-
tubes or persons taking a bath or shower areas, filled sinks or bathtub
to avoid danger of falling into water

never grab into water while using the appliance
-
never touch the appliance with wet hands or standing on wet ground
-
never place the appliance on wet ground
-
should the device become moist or wet or fall into water, immediately remove the
mainsplug from the socket
-
in bathrooms or humid rooms always switch off and unplug electric appliances after
use. The proximity of water presents a hazard even when switched off!!

never use the appliance outdoors

when the appliance is not in use

before cleaning accessories or the appliance

when malfunctioning during use

To unplug only pull the plug, never pull on the cord to avoid damage.
•
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught

in any way. This can avoid accidents of falling down and risk of burning by hot water.
•
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
•
From time to time check if the cord is damaged. In this case or if the appliance is damaged
•
it must not be used any more. Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a
competent qualified electrician (*) to avoid any danger.
•
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or in case of malfunction or if it has
been dropped or damaged in any manner. Ask a (*) competent qualified electrician to
check and repair it.
•
Caution Danger of burning! Do not allow hot parts of the appliance to contact the
face, neck or scalp.
•
Do not place the appliance near or on any heat sensitive or hot surface.
•
Test the appliance and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind,
the appliance should not be used.
•
Never try to repair the device yourself, for all repairs consult an authorised expert.
For safety reasons a broken or damaged cord may only be replaced by an equivalent
cord by the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similar qualified person.
•
Keep the appliance and the cable away from humidity, heat, direct sunlight, moisture,
sharp edges.
•
Switch off the device whenever it is not in use, even if it is only a short moment.
•
Use only original accessories.
•
Attention: The appliance gets hot during operation.
Always allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning it or removing parts. Make sure that the air inlet-opening
is not
clogged with dust, fluff, hair, etc. to avoid overheating.
