initial start-up
Ensure the tank is full of water (very important).
Open the gas supply valve to the appliance.
Turn the equipment on.
(When using for the first time, or after extended stoppage, ensure the gas supply is properly purged of air).
Ignition
●
Press and hold in the WHITE control button (1) which opens the gas block safety valve gate enabling
gas flow to the pilot flame.
●
Light the pilot flame using the piezoelectric ignition (3) keeping the button (1) pressed right down.
Repeat the operation until the pilot flame lights.
●
Allow the thermocouple to heat by keeping the control button (1) pressed right down. Release the
button after 30 seconds. The pilot flame must remain alight, should this not be the case, wait a minute
before repeating the operation.
●
Press the control panel switch, the illuminated indicator will light (6).
●
Place the thermostat button (4) in the desired position.
●
The main burner lights along with the green indicator (5) on the control panel.
●
Check burner pressure is in accordance with data in section 19.1.
Normal Operation
Turn the thermostat knob (4) (Figure 12) to one of the markings according to the water temperature
required.
