20.0 setting the appliance
to work
20.1 NHRE 18
initial start-up
Ensure that the tank is full of water (very important).
Open the gas supply valve to the appliance.
(When using for the first time, or after extended stoppage, ensure the gas supply is properly purged of air)
Turn on the power supply.
Ignition
●
Turn the push-button (1) from the * (stop) position to * (+pilot flame) position.
●
Fully press in push button (1) for 20 seconds.
●
Light the pilot flame using the piezoelectric ignition (2) by keeping the button (1) pressed right down.
●
Repeat the operation until the pilot flame lights.
●
If the pilot flame goes out when the button is released, repeat the operation after one minute. This
repetition may be necessary to evacuate the remains of air in the gas pipe.
Normal operation
●
Turn button (1) from pilot Flame * position to (a numbered) position corresponding to the required
temperature, between 1 and 7.
●
Check the burner pressure is in accordance with data in section 19.1
