Resetting the Keyer
Each time the keyer is turned off, the microprocessor powers down and saves all memories and
configurations to non-volatile memory ready to be used the next time the unit is turned on again. If the
keyer in not working properly, even on initial power on, try resetting to the factory defaults.
Factory Defaults
The unit is shipped with the following default settings for all users 1 to 4:

To reset the keyer to these defaults:
1.
Skip to step 6 if you want to reset the current user; otherwise continue with step 2.
2.
Turn on the power to the keyer.
3.
Press and hold the Menu button for two seconds to go to the setup menus.
4.
Press Previous or Next button to go to the User menu.
5.
Press Up or Down button to select the user to be reset to factory defaults.
6.
Turn off the power to the keyer.
7.
Press and hold
both
the Menu and F2 buttons while turning the power on.
8.
Release the buttons when
DEFAULTS RESET
appears on the display.
