Before performing electrical work, the power supply must be disconnected and secured against
being switched on again. The electrical installation may only be carried out by competent persons in
accordance with the applicable legal requirements. The installation must comply with national and/or local
electrical regulations. An earth-leakage circuit breaker (nominal residual current ≤ 30 mA) is required for
each circuit.
4.3 Connection of mains voltage and room thermostat
For connection to the supply voltage, the following specifications must be observed:
Supply voltage 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz
• The electric circuit for the connection must be sufficiently dimensioned and fused.
When operating the heating system, this circuit must not be overloaded.
• Circuit breaker: 16 A (check total load of the electric circuit. A separate supply line with a 16 A circuit
breaker with C-characteristic is recommended)
• All assembly and installation work must always be carried out in a de-energized state.
The device is not ready for operation when delivered and must first be connected by a qualified electrician.
Variant 1: Connection room thermostat 230 V
The electronics of the BASIC TT power supply unit are designed for the connection of a room thermostat with
230 V AC. The room thermostat is connected to the room thermostat L supply terminal and room thermostat N
supply terminal (room thermostat 230 V AC supply) as well as to the switching contact SK and switching contact N
(switching contact for switching signal) as shown in the diagram.
Notice
A maximum of 400 W may be connected per connection.
The connected total power must not exceed the rated power of the power supply unit.
