7.5 UNHOOKING THE TRACTOR
1. Park the implement on level ground. Put the tractor controls in neutral, set the parking brake, and turn the engine off
before dismounting.
2. Place wheel chocks in front and in back of the implement wheels on opposite sides to prevent the implement from
rolling after the tractor is unhooked.
3. Remove the hydraulic hose ends from the tractor hydraulic ports and secure the hose ends on the front of the box to
keep them clean.
4. Remove the light cords and any optional equipment connections.
5. Remove the PTO drive shaft yoke from the splined tractor PTO shaft and store in the provided support bracket.
6. Remove the jack from the storage mount and install it on the hitch tongue. Crank the jack down until the hitch lifts off
the tractor draw bar.
7. Remove the hitch pin.
8. Unhook safety chain from tractor drawbar and intermediate support.
9. Slowly drive the tractor away from the implement.
Jack is not designed to support the implement when it is loaded.
