Function 

Either the cutting wheel and/or the cup wheel are driven by two three-phase asynchronous motors to 
cut or surface grind the workpiece. The workpiece (e.g. ejector or punching die) is fixed by a spring-
loaded stop prism and positioned by a stop. A digital gage, referenced (adjusted to zero) by scratching 
the workpiece, visualizes the possible advance/positioning for the cut and ensures this to 0.01 mm 
exactly. 
Positioning is done by turning the adjusting screw on the rear end of the linear unit.
