6.2 Configure modelling light
The modelling lamp can be used to assess
the light distribution and shadow formation
before taking a picture.
The modelling light can be set to “Manual” or
“Proportional” mode or deactivated.
The brightness of the modelling light can be
set to a value between 1.0- 6.0 in “Manual”
mode. In “Proportional” mode the brightness
is dependent on the configured flash
intensity (power).
• Press power switch
of the studio flash
unit so that it is in position (ON). The

shows the
setting of the luminosity when the
studio flash unit was last switched off
(here it is 2.0, for example)
• Press the button
and open the Menu.
• Press the sensor button
and open
the menu for the modelling light.

6.3 Switching the flash ready tone
on/off
You can switch on a tone that informs you in
addition to the
FLASH READY
LED

the readiness of the studio flash unit. This
tone is bl on helpful if you cannot watch the
LED, for example for series shots.
