30 The “File Manager”
With the "File Manager" you can manage and process data (pictures, videos, music …) on a
USB storage device and the built-in hard disk, similar to a file manager on a PC.
Call “File Manager”
• Press
button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Filemanager" with the cursor and press the
button.
• Select the source medium with the red
button and press the
button.
• Select the target medium with the green
button and press the
button.
• Use the cursor to mark the file that you would like to copy, move, or delete.
• Change to the grey middle selection column using the cursor; select, for instance, "Copy",
"Shift" or "Delete"; and press the
button.
Copying larger files can take a long time and can be done in standby mode. In this case, the
screen is turned off and the device switches off automatically once copying has been
completed.
