4.1.5 Unit Info
The unit information menu details the asset register information for the NT10G05
and is shown below:
4.1.5.1 Node Name
By default, the node name is set to “NetTESTER_xxyyzz” and in most cases will not
need to be changed. The Node name includes the 3 least significant bytes of the
MAC address to ensure each unit has a unique node name when using MDP.
In more complex installations where multiple loopback units are installed in local
POP sites for instance, giving units individual names would assist with the
identification of the unit being managed and selection of the correct destination
address.
4.1.5.2 Software Version
The software version display shows the version of the current main application
software and the boot software version.

This display item shows the serial number for the unit
