Battery and charging of Li-ion battery pack
The instrument is designed to be powered by rechargeable Li-ion battery pack. The LCD
contains an indication of battery condition (upper right section of LCD). In case the battery is too
weak the instrument indicates this as shown in

The battery is charged whenever the power supply is connected to the instrument. The charger
socket polarity is shown in
. Internal circuit controls (CC, CV) charging and assures
maximum battery lifetime. Nominal operating time is declared for battery with nominal capacity of
4.4 Ah.

The instrument automatically recognizes the connected power supply and begins charging.
