Readings - From Devices
Devices such as Water Activity meters can be connected to the SKALA Hub. When a reading
is taken using a connected device, it is automatically recorded without need for a technician
to record it.
To take a reading from a device, make sure the device is connected to SKALA and then click
on a required test of the appropriate type. SKALA will then prompt the user to use a device
that is available. The devices are called out by the number assigned to it by SKALA. Make
sure to keep connected devices labeled properly. If there are more than one of the same
device type, SKALA will choose one.
If a different device than the one chosen is desired, the user can choose a different device.
To do so click on the numbered picture in the middle of the screen.
SKALA will confirm that you wish to change devices and list the
current available devices of the same type. A different instrument
can be chosen here.
