Move the head of the machine to its
highest position.
Rotate the guard (4) until the cutting disc
is visible. Push in the catch (12).
Loosen the screws (13 & 14) and turn the
cover (15) out of the way.
Use the spanner (16) to loosen the fixing
screw (17) and remove it.
Remove the washer (18) and the flange (19).
Replace the old cutting disc (20) with the
new cutting disc. Bear in mind the
direction of rotation. See the arrow on the
housing (21).
Place the flange onto the cutting disc.
Place the washer and tighten the lockscrew.
Turn the cover back in its place and fasten
the screws (13 & 14).
Pull out the catch and close the guard.
Before replacing the cutting
disc always unplug the tool.
Setting the mitre angle
The mitre angle is left/right infinitely variable
between 0° and 45°.
Use the spanner (16) to slacken the fixing
bolts (22 & 23).
Set the required mitre angle using the
scale (5).
Re-tighten the fixing bolts.
Clamping the workpiece
The vice (6) has a quick-release mechanism
(24) to quickly release the workpiece.
To clamp the workpiece, proceed as follows:
Press the lip (25) of the quick-release
mechanism and pull the vice towards you.
Place the workpiece against the fence (8).
Press the vice with the clamping surface
(26) against the workpiece.
Fasten the vice using the crank (27) so
the workpiece is clamped tightly between
the vice and the fence.
Always use the vice!
To release the workpiece, loosen the vice
a few turns, press the lip of the quick-release
mechanism and pull the vice towards you.
Instructions for use
Check whether the workpiece has been
clamped tightly.
Make sure that the cutting disc has
reached full speed before it touches the
workpiece.
Depress the head with equal force to allow the
cutting disc to cut through the
workpiece and enter the table slot.
Do not exert pressure on the cutting disc.
Allow the machine enough time to cut the
workpiece.
Only raise the head after the cutting disc
has come to a complete standstill.
The cutting capacity gradually decreases
because of wear of the cutting disc. In
order to achieve the maximum cutting
capacity, follow the instructions below
“Increasing the cutting capacity”.
Switching on and off (fig. A)
To switch the tool on, keep the lock-off
button (2) depressed and press the on/off
switch (1).
To switch the tool off, release the on/off
switch.
Increasing the cutting capacity
Take a flat piece of wood that is slightly
narrower in thickness than the workpiece
and place it underneath the workpiece.
Clamp the workpiece.
Make sure that the workpiece
can always be clamped tightly.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention! Before
performing any work on
the equipment, pull the
power plug.
Service
§ Only qualified specialist personnel and original
replacement parts should be used for repairs. This
will ensure that your device remains safe.
Cleaning
§ Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents
such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Lubrication (fig. B)
From time to time, apply a drop of oil to
the thread of the lock screw (17).
Checking and replacing the carbon brushes
(fig. A)
The carbon brushes must be checked on a
regular basis. These must be replaced if they have
been worn right down to 6 mm.
Remove the carbon brush holders (10)
and clean the carbon brushes.
In case of wear, replace both carbon
brushes at the same time.
Mount the carbon brush holders.
After mounting new carbon brushes, let
the machine run at no load for 15 minutes.
Use only the correct type of
carbon brushes.
