The SEMAX OPTI boiler is a bottom combustion boiler, i.e. the exhaust outlet from the charging chamber is
located in the lower part, next to the grate itself. Smoke exhaust hatch in the upper part of the boiler; it is used
only for smoke extraction from the chamber when refilling fuel while the boiler is in operation and can never be
used as a convection channel during combustion.
The kindling should be placed on the grate just next to the exhaust outlet to the ceramic duct. Before lighting
the kindling fire, it is necessary to:

Check that the smoke exhaust hatch (13) is closed.

Turn on the controller so that the exhaust fan starts to work and the chimney draft is created.

Raise the flap (16) in the ash door (4) as much as possible or open the door.

Close the secondary air supply in the inlet (9).

Light the kindling.
When the first batch of ignition is consumed, add a little more fuel to it. If the entire inlet to the ceramic duct is
covered with hot fuel, the entire chamber can be filled with it.
Each time you add fuel, i.e. open the loading door (2), remember to open the smoke exhaust hatch (13) first and
then to close it afterwards. After that, you can open the secondary air supply in the air intake (9), close the ash
pan door, leaving the hatch (16) held open and held by the knob.
ATTENTION!
Smoke and tar on the walls of the charging chamber should be treated as normal in this
type of boiler (with bottom combustion). It does not affect the boiler efficiency or
durability, it is only an aesthetic phenomenon.
ATTENTION!
Do not stand in front of the boiler when opening the door, it may cause burns.
