Boiler start-up

(User | Installer)

NOTE!

The controller settings are freely adjustable due to the variety of existing central heating

installations, heat demand of the building as well as fuel calorific value. The user sets the

boiler operation parameters himself. This activity is not subject to service.

Before starting the fire in the boiler, check that the central heating system has been installed correctly and that

it is filled with water correctly - up to the overflow pipe from the expansion vessel.

Softened/chemically treated water, distilled water or rainwater would be most suitable for filling the entire

system or for making up any shortfalls.

In addition, check that the self-cleaning pellet burner is cleaned of unburned fuel residue, ash and slag from

previous combustion and that the ash has been removed from the ash pan.

Close all doors during the firing-up period. When a stable flame is reached, switch the regulator to automatic

operation, causing the automatic fuel feeder and fan to start.

Set the desired boiler operating temperature, usually 70-

80 ºC. From this moment on, the boiler will operate

automatically, according to the settings which the user sets on the regulator, following the regulator manual

intended for the user and enclosed with this manual.

Periodically, through the viewing door, check the combustion process. Ash and cinders from burnt fuel gradually

fall into the container in the ash pan, causing the burner to self-clean. If a piece of slag hangs between the boiler

wall and the burner, remove it with a rake or hook.

The regulator protects the boiler against: exceeding the acceptable temperature of water in the boiler, embers

falling back to the fuel feeder and shuts down the entire system in the event of lack of fuel.

A sensor is placed on the feeder pipe which reacts if the flame withdraws from the burner to the feeder. In such

a case, the fan is immediately activated and the feeder (located in the burner) starts operating continuously and

stops in the feeder pipe from the tank.

The user of the boiler must carefully read the operating manual of the microprocessor controller intended for

the user.

When starting up the boiler cold or for the first time, a phenomenon of "sweating of the boiler" can occur. This

gives the impression of leakage. In this case, it is necessary to carry out intensive burning (70-

80ºC) in order to

dry and warm the boiler and the flue for 2-3 days.

To increase the service life of the boiler it is recommended to keep the water temperature in the boiler not

lower than 60 ºC. Maintaining a sufficiently low temperature in the radiators in autumn and spring can be

achieved, among other things, by
