Auto Wash cycle
The auto cycle is the programme that enables the dishwasher to select the
best cycle for the soil level of the dishes.
The turbidity sensor is critical to the performance of this cycle. (see relative
section)
The sensor can distinguish soil values from
245
(completely clean water) to
0
(completely dirty water). The software powering the card can discriminate 10
different soil levels that correspond to the 10 dishwasher programmes.
As illustrated in the attached table (stages, times and temperatures table), the
dishwasher always carries out the 1st pre-rinse. This is necessary to clear the
tub of any residues from previous cycles, especially rinse aid.
The sensor measures the soil level at the start of the second stage. If the soil
reading is medium-high, the electronic control orders a second pre-rinse; if
the soil reading is low, the control skips the second pre-rinse and starts the
main wash cycle.
Depending on where the soil value falls within the sensor's range, the
software continues to alter the maximum wash temperature and the times
these temperatures are maintained during the pre-rinse, wash and rinse
cycles.
In the Auto Wash programme the dishes can be loaded at random in both
racks.
