Optional SportFish Electronic Remote Control (ERC)—Operation and Adjustment
Operation
Operation of shift and throttle is controlled by the movement of the control handle. Push the control handle forward from neutral
to the first detent for forward gear. Continue pushing it forward to increase speed. Pull the control handle back from neutral to
the first detent for reverse gear. Continue pulling back to increase speed.
NOTE: In certain modes, the gear position is determined by the electronic shift control, not the position of the ERC levers.
When using the joystick, or while in Skyhook, the computer controls the shifting even though the ERC levers are in neutral.

To help prevent unwanted motion of the handle, the amount of force needed to move the handle is adjustable.
Adjustment
NOTE: The control handle tension and detent tension may require periodic maintenance using the adjustment screws.
To adjust the ERC handle tension or detent tension:
1. Insert a suitable tool in the slot at the bottom of the emblem cover and pry the cover off.

2. Remove the M8 screw and washer securing the handle.
