LÍQUIDO DE FRENOS
El nivel de líquido disminuirá
lentamente a medida que los frenos
se desgastan y aumentará al
reemplazar los componentes de los
frenos. Los niveles de líquidos bajo
la línea “MAX” que no activan la luz
de advertencia sobre el sistema de
frenos, están dentro del rango
normal de funcionamiento; no hay
necesidad de agregar líquido. Si los
niveles de líquidos están fuera del
rango normal de funcionamiento, el rendimiento del sistema de frenos
puede verse comprometido; busque servicio de inmediato en su
distribuidor.
LÍQUIDO DE LA TRANSMISIÓN
Revisión del líquido de la transmisión automática
La transmisión automática no tiene una varilla indicadora del líquido de
la transmisión.
Consulte su
información de mantenimiento programado
para conocer
los intervalos programados para revisiones y cambios de líquido. La
transmisión no consume líquido. Sin embargo, el nivel de líquido se debe
revisar si la transmisión no funciona correctamente (es decir, si resbala o
cambia lentamente) o si observa algún signo de fuga de líquido.
Se debe revisar el líquido de la transmisión y, si es necesario, un
técnico calificado debe agregar líquido.
No utilice aditivos suplementarios de líquido de la transmisión, otros
tratamientos ni agentes limpiadores. El uso de estos materiales puede
afectar el funcionamiento de la transmisión y provocar daños a los
componentes internos de ésta.

los intervalos adecuados para cambiar el elemento del filtro de aire.
Al cambiar el elemento del filtro de aire, use sólo el elemento del filtro
de aire Motorcraft mencionado. Consulte

en este capítulo.
Nota:
no arranque el motor sin el filtro de aire y no lo quite mientras el
motor esté funcionando.
