3. Fill to full line with specified fluid.
IMPORTANT: If fluid is not visible in pump, contact your authorized Mercury MerCruiser
dealer.
Filling
1. Remove the fill cap/dipstick and observe the level.
2. Add the specified fluid to bring the fluid level up to the proper range.

3. Reinstall the fill cap/dipstick.
Changing
Power steering fluid does not require changing unless it becomes contaminated with water
or debris. Contact your authorized Mercury MerCruiser dealer.
Engine Coolant
Checking

CAUTION
A sudden loss of pressure can cause hot coolant to boil and discharge violently resulting
in serious injury from burns. Allow the engine to cool down before removing the coolant
pressure cap.
1. With the engine at normal operating temperature, check the coolant level in the coolant
recovery bottle.
