Signal

Lights up green when the sup-
ply voltage is connected. The
high-voltage battery can be
charged.
Flashes red when the power
supply from the building is
faulty.

Lights up green if no malfunc-
tions are detected. The high-
voltage battery can be
charged.
Lights up red if residual cur-
rent has been detected or
there is an internal malfunc-
tion. The high-voltage battery
cannot be charged.
If the control detects residual current or a mal-
function, the charging process is halted. Once
the malfunction has been rectified the charging
process is resumed automatically.

Setting the maximum permissible charge
current
A country-specific maximum charge current is
set for the charging cable. Before starting the
charging process at a power socket, check the
maximum permissible charge current for the
relevant power socket or the building. Observe
the notes on setting the maximum permissible
charge current (
Y
page 34).

When you disconnect the charging cable from
the mains socket after charging, the set value is
reset to the minimum setting. You will then need
to reset the value for the maximum charge cur-
rent at the next charging process.
