Check Tires

* The tire pressure in one or more tires has dropped significantly. The wheel position will be displayed.

WARNING Risk of an accident due to insufficient tire pressure

The tires can burst.

The tires can wear excessively and/or unevenly.

The driving characteristics as well as the steering and braking may be greatly impaired.

You could then lose control of the vehicle.

Observe the recommended tire pressures.

Adjust the tire pressure if necessary.

Stop the vehicle in accordance with the traffic conditions.

Check the tire pressure (

page 265) and the tires.

* The tire pressure is too low in at least one of the tires, or the difference in tire pressure between the individual

wheels is too great.

Check the tire pressure and add air, if necessary.

When the tire pressure is correct, restart the tire pressure monitoring system (
