Traffic events/real-time traffic events
(TMC)
The Traffic Message Channel (TMC) provides
real-time traffic reports. The multimedia system
receives TMC traffic event messages, which are
taken into consideration for traffic-dependent
route guidance. Traffic event messages are acti-
vated by default.

TMC is not available in all regions and coun-
tries.
If there are traffic events on the route, the mul-
timedia system issues a message and recalcu-
lates the route.
Activating or deactivating traffic event
message reception
If the TMC receiver is switched on, traffic event
messages are received.
