Press on the back area of fuel filler flap

Turn the fuel filler cap counter-clockwise and
remove it.
#
Completely insert the pump nozzle into the
tank filler neck, hook in place and refuel.
#
Only fill the fuel tank until the pump nozzle
switches off.
#
Replace the cap on the filler neck and turn
clockwise until it engages audibly.

Close fuel filler flap

Close the fuel filler flap before locking the
vehicle.

WARNING Risk of accident and injury
caused by an insufficiently secured vehi‐
cle rolling away
If the vehicle is not securely parked suffi‐
ciently, it can roll away in an uncontrolled
way even at a slight downhill gradient.

On uphill or downhill gradients, turn the
front wheels so that the vehicle rolls
towards the curb if it starts moving.

Apply the parking brake.

Switch the transmission to position

WARNING Risk of fire caused by hot
exhaust system parts
Flammable materials such as leaves, grass or
twigs may ignite.
#
Park the vehicle so that no flammable
material can come into contact with hot
vehicle components.
#
In particular, do not park on dry grass‐
land or harvested grain fields.

WARNING Risk of accident and injury
due to children left unattended in the
vehicle
If children are left unsupervised in the vehi‐
cle, they could, in particular:

Open doors, thereby endangering other
persons or road users.
R
Get out and be struck by oncoming traf‐
fic.
R
Operate vehicle equipment and become
trapped, for example.
In addition, the children could also set the
vehicle in motion, for example by:
R
Releasing the parking brake.
R
Change the transmission position.
R
Start the vehicle.

Never leave children unattended in the
vehicle.
