The ECO-OFF button deactivates or activates ECO
start/stop mode. The current mode is visible from an
indicator lamp integrated in the switch when the igni-
tion is on. When active, the indicator lamp is off and,
when inactive, the indicator lamp lights up red.
The ASR-OFF button allows the ASR function (acceler-
ation skid control) to be deactivated. The ASR function
prevents wheelspin under certain circumstances by
reducing the engine power.
This function is automatically reactivated when the
ignition is operated or a speed of approx. 50 km/h is
exceeded.
Vehicle key
The vehicle key features a 2-button radio remote
control and a transponder. It incorporates two
buttons, a folding key bit and controls for the inte-
grated immobilizer. One button is used to open the
vehicle and one button is used to lock the vehicle with
the central locking system via a radio remote control
(CPE).
The key bit can be folded out by pressing the small
button on the left-hand picture.
This is needed, for example, for the standard tank cap
lock cylinder.
The fuel filler flap can also be locked via the central
locking as an option (SA). The cylinder is fitted to the
tank cap and is unlocked together with the cap.
