Text messages (SMS)

Information and requirements

The following conditions must be met in order

to use the functions:
The Bluetooth

mobile phone supports the

MAP Bluetooth

profile (Message Access

Profile).

When the mobile phone is connected, the 30

most recent text messages currently stored

in the phone's text message inbox are loaded

to Audio 20's text message (SMS) inbox and

displayed.

Audio 20 does not load all the newest text

messages:
This may occur in exceptional cases, for

example when using certain mobile phones

and when the mobile phone inbox holds

many text messages.

Once the above conditions are met, new text

messages arriving in the Audio 20 text

message inbox are displayed. In addition, an

audible signal sounds and the

symbol

appears. The symbol disappears once you

have read the text message. The

mail

symbol is displayed when the text message

memory is full. The symbol disappears after

at least one text message has been deleted.

The text display shows the first few words of

a text message.

To switch to text display: select the list

symbol to the right of the text message by

sliding

the controller and press

confirm.
