b ra ke pedal can be an in d ic a tio n o f
h a z a rd o u s road c o n d itio n s , and it
fu n c tio n s as a re m in d e r to ta k e extra
care w h ile driving .

o u t o r c o m e s on w h ile d rivin g , it in d i
c a te s th a t th e A B S has d e te c te d a
m a lfu n c tio n and has s w itc h e d o ff. In
th is case, th e b ra ke s y s te m fu n c tio n s
in th e usual m anner, b u t w ith o u t a n ti
lo c k a s s is ta n c e . W e re c o m m e n d th a t
you v is it an a u th o riz e d M E R C E D E S -
B E N Z d e a le r as s o o n as p o s s ib le to
