Automatic Antenna
The antenna switch can be actuated
with the radio switched on.
• If the antenna switch is engaged in
the upper position, the antenna ex­
tends fully.
Note:
For most conditions the antenna
should normally be in this position.
• If the antenna switch is in the cen­
ter position, the antenna extends
automatically to medium height,
• if the antenna switch is engaged in
the lower position, the antenna will
not extend or will retract com ­
pletely.
The height of the antenna can be
adjusted to any intermediate position
by actuating the antenna sw itch :
• If the antenna switch is in the cen­
ter position, the antenna will ex­
tend to medium height. The an­
tenna can be further extended or
retracted to any height by rocking
the switch (not engaging it).
• If the antenna is to be retracted,
e.g. going through car wash, etc.,
engage switch in lower position.
When the key is turned to steering
lock position
0
or the radio is turned
off, the antenna will retract completely.
