For maximum operating efficiency,
keep all windows and the sliding roof
closed.
Pleating, cooling and air distribution
within the vehicle’s interior will be au
tom atically controlled. This is accom
plished with the temperature selector
(1), the pushbuttons (2) and the fan
control buttons (3).
The adjustable outlets (6) and (8) can
be variably opened and closed via
controls (5) and (7).
Air volume is increased by rotating the
control up, and reduced by rotating the
control down.
To ensure efficient operation of the cli
mate control system, the outlets (6)
and (8) should not all be closed at the
same time.
With the exterior lamps turned on (ex
cept standing lamps), the symbols on
all buttons light up. Each button shines
brighter when depressed.
Note:
The air conditioner removes consider
able moisture from the air during oper
ation. It is normal, for water to drip on
the ground beneath the vehicle
through openings in the underbody.
