Vehicle identification plates

Vehicle identification number (VIN)
As well as being shown on the vehicle identi-
fication plate, the vehicle identification num-
ber (VIN) is also stamped onto the vehicle
body. It is located in the centre tunnel on the
front-passenger's side.

Slide the front-passenger seat to its front-
most position.

Fold the seat forwards.

Fold trim 1 upwards.
You will see vehicle identification number
(VIN) 2 .
Engine number
The engine number is stamped on the engine
block (crankcase). More information can be
obtained from any Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre.
