Storage
Allow the food to cool before storage.
Food keeps better if it is stored cool, dry and in the dark.
Make sure that the storage containers contain as little air as possible. Seal the containers well.
15°C is the maximum temperature for optimal storage.
Never store food in direct contact with metal containers.
Only use airtight containers.
Check the dried food for moisture several times in the weeks immediately after the drying. If there
are signs of moisture in the container, dry the food some more to prevent it from going bad.
Do not store fruit, vegetables, herbs, nuts, and bread etc. for more than 1 year in a freezer.
Do not store meat, poultry and fish etc. for more than 3 months in a refrigerator or 1 year in a
freezer.
MAINTENANCE
Switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord and allow it to cool before cleaning. Remove any scraps
of food with a soft brush. Wipe all parts with a dry cloth before storage. Clean the base unit with a lightly
moistened cloth.
Do not use strong or abrasive detergents that can damage the surface.
