Detection of small objects
If a pan is not the right size or made of
unsuitable material (such as aluminium),
or a small object such as cutlery is left on the
hob, the induction hob will automatically go
into standby mode after 1 minute. The fan will
continue to run for 1 minute.
NOTE:
• Always lift pans off the hob. Do not pull
them over the surface, this can scratch
the glass.
• Heating will not take place unless a
suitable pan is correctly positioned on
the hob.
• The display automatically switches off
after 1 minute if no suitable pan is
placed on the hob.
• If there are repetitive audio prompts
when setting the temperature:

The pan is not not correctly
positioned on the hob.
–
The pan is not suitable to use on an
induction hob.
–
The pan is too small.
COOKING
Press the
ON/OFF
button
for two seconds. An audio
prompt is given and the
induction hob starts. The
status light flashes to show
that the induction hob
is in standby mode. The
induction hob switches off
automatically if no buttons
are pressed in 60 seconds.
Place a suitable pan on the
hob to be used. Make sure
that the bottom of the pan
and the surface of the hob
are clean and dry.
Press the power settings
button to start heating.

changed at any time during
the cooking.

Switch off the induction
hob by pressing the
ON/
OFF
button.

temperature. The residual
heat can be used to save
