Positioning
Place the food uniformly distributed, with
thicker parts nearest the edge of the utensil
and thinner pieces towards the middle.
If possible, avoid overlapping.
Cooking time
Try a short cooking time first, and then increase
if necessary. Cooking for too long can cause the
food to smoke or get burned.
Uniform cooking
• Food such as poultry, minced meat steaks
or whole meat should be turned during
the cooking.
• Some food should be stirred, from the
edge of the utensil towards the middle,
one or several times during the cooking.
Stand time
Leave the food to stand in the oven for a
short while after cooking to equalise the
temperature.
Checking the cooking
The colour and hardness of the food indicate
when the food is cooked, as well as the
following indications.
• Steam from all over the food, not just the
edges.
• Joints on poultry are easy to move.
• No sign of red meat juice on ham/poultry.
• Fish is opaque and can easily be divided
with a fork.
Browning dish
When using a browning dish put a heat-
resistant insulating item, e.g. a porcelain plate
under the dish, otherwise the glass plate and/
or rotation ring can be damaged.
Plastic film intended for microwave ovens
Do not allow the film to come into contact
with food with a high fat content during the
cooking, this can cause the film to melt.
Plastic utensils intended for
microwave oven
Some plastic utensils for use in microwave
ovens are perhaps not suitable for cooking
food with a high fat or sugar content. Do not
exceed the recommended cooking time for the
utensil.
MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance at regular intervals
and remove any scraps of food.
• Do not use solvent, strong, corrosive or
abrasive detergents, or abrasive or
scratching utensils, when cleaning.
METHODS TO REMOVE ANY SMELLS
FROM THE APPLIANCE.
• Put a few slices of lemon in a mug and
run the appliance at full power for 2–3
minutes.
• Put a cup of red tea in the appliance and
run at full power.
• Put a few pieces of orange peel in the
appliance and run at full power for 1
minute.
