LIGHT BULB AND LIGHT LENS REPLACEMENT
WARNING: Failure to position the parts in accordance with these diagrams or failure to use only parts
specifically approved with this appliance may result in property damage or personal injury.
The light and lens will come installed in the fireplace. To replace the light bulb if it burns out, follow these instructions.
1.
Remove the glass frame from the fireplace.
2.
Locate the accent light at the top of the fireplace. The light lens is held in place with 4 nuts.

Caution: Do not touch the light lens with bare hands. Always use the protective foam wrap supplied with
the light bulb or a pair of clean cloth or neoprene gloves to handle the light bulb. Touching the light bulb
will leave oils and dirt on the lens and will cause premature failure of the light bulb.
3.
Use a 3/8” hex hand driver to loosen the nuts.
4.
Remove the lens retainer and light lens.
5.
Remove the burnt-out light bulb. Grab the bulb and pull straight down to remove it from the socket.
6.
Align the base of the new bulb with the socket and push the bulb into the socket. Ensure that the bulb is pushed
all the way into the socket and fits snugly.
7.
Install the lens and lens retainer back over the studs and install the 4 nuts to hold the components in place.
8.
Hand tighten all 4 nuts. The use a 3/8” hex had driver to tighten the nuts one turn each. Overtightening the nuts
can crack the light lens.
9.
Reinstall the glass frame.
Warning:
Use a 3/8”
hex hand driver to tighten nuts.DO NOT over tighten the nuts. Doing so can crack the
light lens.
