Fault Cause Measure
Not enough milk
froth is formed
during the frothing
process.
The nozzle of the
steam pipe is in the
wrong position.
Adjust the nozzle to the
proper position.
The steam pipe nozzle
is dirty.
Clean the nozzle.
The brewing unit
can no longer be
reinserted after
removal.
The brewing unit is not
properly locked.
Check whether the handle
for locking the brewing unit
is correctly engaged.
The actuator is not in
the proper position.
Switch the appliance off and
on again, then simultane-
ously press the button for
coffee dispensing
and steam dispensing
for more than 2 seconds.
The actuator moves into
position. Then reinsert the
brewing unit and make sure
it is correctly locked into
place.
The symbols for
cleaning and
stand-by flash
alternately.
The brewing unit is
missing or is not pro-
perly inserted.
Insert the brewing unit
properly.
The brewing chamber
is overfilled.
Switch off the appliance and
switch it on again via the
ON/OFF button (repeat
if necessary) until standby
