Temporary interruption of cooking
• Cooking can be temporarily interrupted at any time by
pressing the “Stop.Clear” button once.
• Cooking can also be temporarily interrupted by
opening the door (practical if the food needs turning).
• When cooking is temporarily interrupted, one or more
function indicators will show on the display, and the
clock will show the remaining cooking time.
• To resume cooking, close the oven door, if it has been
opened, and restart the appliance by pressing the
“Instant.Start” (a) button.
• If you press the “Stop/Clear” button twice, cooking will
stop and the selected cooking time and the program
will reset.
Extending cooking time
• You can extend the cooking time at any point during
cooking by turning the “Time Weight/Auto Cooking” (g)
selector. The time will be increased at intervals of 10
seconds. This does not apply to the defrost programs.
Express cooking
Express cooking takes place at full microwave power for
the number of minutes you set. This function can be useful
if you would like to quickly heat a cup of water or similar.
1. Press the “Express” (b) button repeatedly to set the
cooking time. The first press will set the device to 30
seconds and each subsequent press will increase the
time by 30 seconds.
2. Press the “Instant.Start” button to commence cooking.
3. The oven will start and the display will show the
remaining cooking time.
Manual cooking – selecting power level
1. Press the “Micro Power” button (a) repeatedly to select
the power required. See the various power levels in
the table below.
2. When the display shows the desired power, set the
cooking time using the “Time/Weight/Auto Cooking”
selector.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Press the “Instant.Start” button to commence cooking.
5. The appliance starts; the microwave symbol (MW)
flashes and the display shows the remaining cooking
time.

Defrost function
You can defrost food in the appliance using one of the
three defrost programs (see program list in the table
below).
1. Place the frozen foods in the appliance.
2. Press the “Auto Defrost” button repeatedly to select
the required defrost program. The display will show
the program number and defrost symbol “Def”.
3. Select the desired weight using the “Time Weight/
Auto Cooking” selector. The appliance automatically
calculates defrosting time for the weight given.
4. Close the oven door.
5. Press the “Instant.Start” button to commence
defrosting.
6. The oven will start and the display will show the
remaining cooking time.
NOTE! In order to achieve an even result, turn the frozen
foods after half the defrosting time has elapsed. 2 x 3
beeps will sound when half of the time has elapsed to
remind you.

Multi-stage cooking
The appliance can run up to four programs in continuation
of each other.
Example: To set a program with cooking at full microwave
power for 3 minutes followed by 9 minutes of cooking at
20% microwave power.
1. Press the “Micro Power” button to select power level
“100P”.
2. Select the desired cooking time of 3 minutes using the
“Time Weight/Auto Cooking” selector.
3. Repeatedly press the “Micro Power” button to select
power level “20P”.
4. Select the desired cooking time of 9 minutes using the
“Time Weight/Auto Cooking” selector.
5. Close the oven door.
6. Press the “Instant.Start” button to commence cooking
with the selected multi-stage program.
7. The oven will start and the display will show the
remaining cooking time. Two beeps sound when the
appliance progresses to the next stage in the multi-
stage program.
Timer
You can programme the appliance to start cooking at a
given time. The clock must be set before the timer function
can be used.
1. Place the food to be cooked in the appliance.
2. Set one or more cooking programs as described
above. Do NOT press the “Instant.Start” button.
o You can use multi-stage cooking with up to four
stages together with the timer function.
o You cannot use defrost or auto programs together
with the timer function.
3. Press the “Preset.Clock” button and hold it in for 3
seconds to return to the clock display.
4. Set the start time as described in “Setting the Clock”.
5. Press the “Preset.Clock” button to complete the
setting. A beep will sound and the appliance will revert
to clock display. The red clock symbol will flash on the
display.
