USE
Using the eyelash curler
Use the eyelash curler after removing make-up and
cleansing your face and before applying mascara.
• Remove the accessory holder (8) by turning it
anticlockwise so the arrow on the back of the holder
lines up with the square on the handle, and lift the
accessory holder off.
• Attach the eyelash curler (5) to the handle so the
arrow on the eyelash curler lines up with the square
on the handle, and turn clockwise until the arrow
lines up with the dot on the handle.
• Push the on/off button (4) to position I.
• Wait approx. 1 minute until the indicator light on the
back of the eyelash curler tip begins to glow. This
means the eyelash curler is hot and ready to use.
• Place the curler against the top side of the upper
eyelashes so the comb rests on the innermost
lashes. Be careful not to get too close to your eye.
• Run the eyelash curler outwards along the lashes
several times, but only in this direction, until the
eyelashes are sufficiently curled.
• Repeat the procedure for the lower eyelashes.
• Switch off the handle once you have finished curling
your lashes.
• Wait for 5 minutes before removing the eyelash
curler from the handle, as it will be very hot.
NB! Be careful not to touch your eyes with the hot
tip of the eyelash curler, as this can damage your
eye.
Using the trimmer
• Remove the accessory holder from the handle by
turning it anticlockwise so the arrow on the back of
the holder lines up with the square on the handle,
and lift it off.
• Attach the trimmer (6) to the handle so the arrow on
the trimmer lines up with the square on the handle,
and turn clockwise until the arrow lines up with the
dot on the handle.
• Use the large or small blade to trim your eyebrows
(with or without the attachment combs), facial hair
or bikini line as described below.
NB! Using a bent or damaged blade can cause cuts.
Always check the state of the blade before using the
trimmer.
Trimming your eyebrows
• Draw on the required eyebrow outline using an
eyebrow pencil.
• Trim the hairs outside the outlines using the small
trimmer blade.
Trimming your eyebrows using the attachment comb
• Straighten your eyebrow hairs using an eyebrow
comb.
• Select one of the three attachment combs (7),
according to the desired eyebrow shape and hair
length. Comb A gives the longest hairs and comb C
the shortest. The grooves on the attachment comb
indicate the eyebrow angle, which differs from comb
to comb.
• Slot the attachment comb over the small trimmer
blade by pushing it into place in the slide grooves
on the trimmer. Each attachment comb can trim
to two different lengths: s (short) and l (long). If the
indicator on the trimmer is lined up with the ‘s’ on
the attachment comb, the short setting is selected,
and if it is lined up with the ‘l’, the long setting is
selected.
• Trim the top and bottom edge of the eyebrows
individually. Position the attachment comb against
the eyebrow, and guide it slowly from the tip of
the eyebrow in towards the nose against the hairs’
direction of growth. Repeat the procedure 3 to
4 times until you achieve the desired length and
shape.
NB! The attachment comb must not be lifted while
guiding it along the eyebrow, it should be pressed
lightly against the skin.
Trimming fine facial hair
The trimmer’s small or large blade can be used to trim
fine facial hair, e.g. on the cheeks, along the ear, on the
upper lip or along the hairline at the back of the neck.
Position the trimmer so the blade is flat against the skin,
and guide it slowly along against the hairs’ direction of
growth.
Trimming your bikini line
Put on bikini bottoms and trim the hairs showing using
the trimmer’s small or large blade.
NB! Do not use the trimmer in places where the skin
is very sensitive.
Using the facial treatment accessories
• Remove the eyelash curler or trimmer if either of
these is attached to the handle.
• Position the accessory holder so the arrow on the
holder lines up with the square on the handle, and
turn clockwise until the arrow lines up with the dot
on the handle.
• Check that the handle is switched off before fitting
or switching accessories.
• Attach the required accessory for facial treatment by
slotting it down over the accessory holder shaft and
pushing it down as far as possible. You can fit the
facial brush (9), facial sponge (10) or facial massager
(11).
• When you want to change accessories, simply pull
the accessory off the shaft and slot a different one
on.
