ASSEMBLY
•
Attach the wings of the hanger (1) to the
collar section (9) and screw them in place
on each side.
•
Insert the telescopic pole (2) into the
mounting flange (7) on the motor section
(4).
•
Attach the collar section (9) to the tele-
scopic pole (2). Turn it so that the wings of
the hanger (1) point forwards.
•
Loosen the height adjustment knob (8)
and pull the telescopic pole (2) to the
required height. Retighten the height
adjustment knob.
•
Pull the balloon (10) down over the
hanger. The vertical row of holes should
be facing forwards.
T
he large elastic
band must be fastened
to the mounting
flange (7).
The balloon must go right down to the
motor section.
•
Dismantle the appliance by following the
above steps in the reverse order.
USE
Pull the shirt over the balloon and the
hanger and fasten the buttons on the chest and
sleeves.
The collar should sit on the collar section and
the row of buttons should line up in front of the
vertical row of holes in the balloon. The part
of the balloon in the shirt sleeves must not be
twisted.
Insert the plug (1
1
) into a wall socket.
Turn the timer button (6) to the required set-
ting from 0-180 minutes. The drying/press-ing
process typically takes 10 minutes for a
lightweight shirt that has been spun. The drying
time depends on factors such as the material
and its thickness, so it may be necessary to
use trial and error to work out the optimum
drying time. Start with a short time and extend
if necessary.
The balloon inflates. Smooth any creases in
the shirt by hand and then leave it until the set
time has passed, when the appliance will
automatically switch off.
