SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always place the appliance on a dry, level,
firm and heat-resistant surface, and with a
suitable clearance on all sides.
•
Always place the appliance at a safe
distance from flammable objects such as
curtains, tablecloths or similar.
•
The appliance must not be placed or
stored near other sources of heat.
•
The appliance and its openings must not
be covered with clothing, etc.
•
Do not insert foreign objects into the open-
ings of the appliance, as this may cause
electric shock or fire or damage the unit.
•
The metal parts, hanger and telescopic
pole get very hot during use. Do not touch
these parts during use, as they may cause
burns.
•
Please note that the appliance will remain
hot for a while after you switch it off.
Always allow it to cool completely before
you put it away or clean it.
•
Do not use the appliance in the immediate
vicinity of bathtubs, showers, sinks, or the
like.
•
The appliance must not be immersed in
water or any other liquid. If the appliance
comes into contact with water, unplug it
immediately.
•
Always follow the washing/ironing instruc-
tions on the garment.
•
Do not attempt to dry wool or delicate fab-
rics on the appliance, as the clothes may
be damaged.
•
The appliance is only intended for drying
machine-washed clothing that has been
spun at the end of the washing program.
Hand-washed clothing must be par-
tially dried before it can be fully dried and
pressed on the appliance.
