7 – Installation and setting
Mounting the additional handle
The additional handle (6) can be mounted
on the right or the left of the chuck, as
required. Release the handle piece of the
additional handle by turning to the left
until it can be pushed over the chuck (8)
and onto the tensioning neck. The holder
cams on the underside of the tensioning
neck must fit into the holder grooves of
the tensioning ring. This allows you to
select a comfortable working position
and, at the same time, secures the addi-
tional handle from vibration-related slid-
ing. Tighten the handle piece, by turning
to the right until the additional handle is
fixed to the machine.
Mounting the depth stop
Loosen the additional handle (6) so that
the hexagonal screw exposes the open-
ing for the depth stop. Slide the depth
stop (7) into the opening and tighten the
handle.
Setting the depth stop
• Fit the drill and lock into place.
• Loosen the additional handle.
