Setting fence: loosen Tbolt nut under
neath. Set fence to the desired rebate
width (max. 82 mm).
Retighten Tbolt nut.
Changing blades
Risk of injury. Always unplug
from mains before changing
blades! Wear protective gloves!
Lay planer on the work bench with the
sole facing up. Rotate the blade shaft
until a blade can be seen.
Using an openended spanner (9),
loosen the three hexagonal nuts
(a halfturn only!).
Swing protective cap down and, using
a screwdriver, push the blade out side
ways. Loosen jammed blades by tap
ping them lightly on their front face.
The twoedged reversible blades can be
reinserted with the good edge facing
up. They need not be replaced until both
edges are dull.
Swing protective cap down and insert
new (or reversed) blade from the side.
Ensure correct alignment!
The blade must run parallel to the pres
sure plate! If necessary, adjust by
means of the hexagonsocket screws.
Retighten the three hexagonal nuts,
using the openended spanner.
Likewise, change (or reverse) the second
blade and adjust it as described.
Always change or reverse blades in pairs!
