Fitting collecting bag (Fig. 2)

from mains before changing
bits!
To avoid inhaling harmful wood dust,
always work with the collecting bag (6)
fitted!
Insert stabilising rod (a) into the adapt
er (b). Slip collecting bag (6) over the
adapter. Insert adapter into the shavings
ejector hole (5). Close zip (c).
Setting planning depth (Fig. 3)
Risk of injury. Always unplug
from mains before setting!
Set the desired depth (0 to 2.0 mm) by
turning the depth setting knob (4). The
arrow on the housing will point to the
set value.
Cutting depths of over 2 mm must be
planed in more than one pass.
Fitting fence and depth stop

Purpose
For smoothing only the
fence (6) need be fitted.
For chamfering the fence
and depth stop need not be
fitted.
