Inspecting pressure vessels for systems that re-
quire monitoring
The collection tank and the compressor used by the WasteStar system are ele-
ments which, pursuant to paragraph 14 and 15 of the BetrSichV (Ordinance on In-
dustrial Safety and Health), require examination prior to commissioning as well as
periodic inspections during their service life.
The following responsibilities are incumbent upon the customer / operator of
the WasteStar system!
PLEASE NOTE:
In accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) the container
(collection tank and compressor) is to be registered with the responsible TÜV for
acceptance testing.
(See Construction & pressure inspection certificate, TÜV)
Inspection after 5 years:
Internal inspection (visual check)
Inspection after 10 years:
External inspection with pressure test (water filling) 1.3- fold working pressure.
